Creating a Growth Plan

Creating a Growth Plan

Creating a Growth Plan

Start with direction

Growth starts with clarity.

Before creating a Growth Plan, you must first answer the Career Direction question.

This is the first step and unlocks the rest of the experience.

Choose your career direction

When starting a Growth Plan, you will be asked:

What best describes your current direction?

This question helps define the focus of the plan.

Once selected, the Growth Plan drawer will appear.

Based on your answer, Dual Dash will guide you toward the right development path.

What happens next

After selecting a direction, your Growth Plan is built using:

  • Performance Drivers to develop how you work
  • Role Skills (Technical Skills) to build what you can execute

These are tailored to your current role or the role you want to grow into.

Creating your plan

To create a Growth Plan:

  1. Answer the Career Direction question
  2. Select the Performance Drivers or Role Skills you want to focus on
  3. Define what success looks like
  4. Choose how you will develop the skill
    • Coaching
    • Training
    • Practice
    • Mentoring

This creates a clear and structured path forward.

One plan at a time

Growth Plans are designed to stay focused.

You can only have one active plan at a time.

Once completed, you can start a new plan by answering the Career Direction question again.

Connected to coaching

Growth Plans are not separate from your day-to-day work.

They connect directly to:

  • 1:1 Meetings for ongoing discussion
  • Performance Drivers for behavior development
  • Role Skills for capability building

This ensures growth is consistently supported.

The bottom line

Growth does not happen by chance.

It happens when direction is clear and development is intentional.
