1:1 meetings are where alignment happens.
They create a consistent space for managers and employees to discuss progress, remove roadblocks, and move work forward.
Dual Dash organizes these conversations so agendas, notes, and commitments stay in one place.

Agenda Objects
Agenda items in Dual Dash are called agenda objects.
Each object represents something you want to discuss during the meeting.
Common agenda objects include:
• Custom Topics — questions, updates, or feedback
• Goals — review progress toward goals
• Action Items — commitments from previous meetings
• KPIs — discuss performance results from Scorecards
• Nothing to Add — signals you're aligned and have no topics
These objects help structure the conversation without forcing unnecessary discussion.
During the Meeting
As the meeting happens, the agenda guides the discussion.
Together you can:
• review updates
• discuss roadblocks
• capture commitments
• mark items as completed
This helps keep conversations focused and productive.
Reflection Inputs
At the end of the agenda, you’ll find reflection inputs.
These help both participants share perspective about the meeting and the work.
They include:
• Performance Drivers — feedback on key behaviors that influence results
• Sentiment — how the employee is feeling about work
• Stress — how manageable the current workload feels
These inputs give leaders additional context beyond the agenda discussion.
The Right Rail
The right side of the meeting contains helpful tools and context.
These include:
Communication Tools
Guidance on how to communicate effectively with the person you’re meeting with, including helpful Do’s and Don’ts based on personality styles.
Private Notes
A space where managers can keep notes that are only visible to them.
Action Items
A quick view of commitments captured during meetings.
Work Plans
Goals and tasks connected to the employee’s priorities.
Performance Driver Chart
A visual view of how performance drivers have been trending over time.
Together, these tools provide context that helps managers coach more effectively.
