Great ideas don’t always come from the top.
Many of the best improvements in an organization come from the people doing the work every day.
The Ideas feature in Dual Dash gives employees a place to share suggestions that can help the organization improve.
It’s designed to capture ground-up feedback that leaders may not otherwise hear.
Sharing an Idea
Any employee can submit an idea.
When creating an idea, the user can:
• add a title
• write a description explaining the suggestion
• select a topic tag to categorize the idea
• choose whether to submit anonymously
This makes it easy for employees to share improvements, opportunities, or concerns.
Sometimes the best ideas come from people who simply see something that could work better.
Community Feedback
Once an idea is submitted, it becomes visible to the organization.
Employees can then:
• upvote ideas they support
• downvote ideas they believe may not be helpful
• comment to add thoughts or expand on the suggestion
This allows teams to surface the ideas that generate the most interest and discussion.
A Clear Review Process
Each idea moves through a review cycle.
Ideas begin in a Pending Review state while feedback is gathered from the team.
A countdown timer shows how long the idea will remain open for voting and discussion.
This gives everyone a chance to weigh in before a decision is made.
Leadership Decisions
At the end of the review period, a decision maker evaluates the idea.
The idea card is then updated with the outcome.
Possible outcomes may include:
• Approved
• Not Approved
• Under Consideration
Leaders can also provide an explanation so employees understand how the decision was made.
This transparency helps build trust in the process.
Turning Feedback Into Improvement
Ideas help organizations stay open to improvement.
They create a structured way for employees to share insights, support suggestions, and help shape the workplace.
When employees know their ideas can be heard and evaluated, innovation becomes part of the culture.
What’s Next
Ideas help organizations improve from the inside.
But great workplaces also recognize the people who contribute every day.
