Taking Surveys

Surveys in Dual Dash are designed to be simple to complete and safe to respond to.

You can access surveys in a few different ways, respond at your own pace, and add context where it matters.

Access Your Survey

You can open a survey from three places:

  • In-app notification
  • Calendar widget
  • Email link

Each option takes you directly to the survey.

Review Privacy and Rules

Before starting, you’ll be asked to review the privacy and rules policy.

This explains how your responses are handled and how your data is protected.

You must accept this before beginning the survey.

Answer the Questions

Surveys include a mix of question types, depending on the survey design.

For most questions, you’ll select a response such as:

  • Likert scale (Strongly Disagree → Strongly Agree)
  • Multiple choice
  • Yes / No

For each of these questions, you also have the option to add a comment.

Use comments to:

  • Add context to your answer
  • Explain your experience
  • Share additional feedback

Open-ended questions are designed specifically for written responses and do not include a separate comment field.

Submit Your Responses

Once you’ve completed the survey, submit your responses.

Your answers are recorded and included in the overall results.

How Comments Are Handled

Comments are treated with care.

  • Executives can view comments to understand context
  • Managers and Employees do not have access to comments

This ensures feedback can be reviewed responsibly while maintaining appropriate boundaries.

Atlas AI Summaries

If your organization chooses to use Atlas, Dual Dash’s AI tool, survey comments can be summarized into key themes.

Atlas is designed to:

  • Highlight patterns across responses
  • Provide a high-level summary of feedback

No personally identifiable information is included in these summaries.

Atlas is opt-in, meaning your organization decides whether to use it.

Share Feedback With Confidence

Surveys are designed to give employees a voice while protecting their privacy.

Clear structure, optional comments, and controlled visibility help ensure feedback is both honest and useful.
