Submitting Ideas

Ideas in Dual Dash give everyone a voice.

They provide a simple way to suggest improvements, gather input, and help shape how work gets done.

Create an Idea

To submit an idea:

  1. Open Ideas
  2. Click Create Idea
  3. Add a title
  4. Write a description explaining your idea

Keep it clear and specific so others understand what you’re proposing.

Add Context

When writing your idea, focus on:

  • What the idea is
  • Why it matters
  • What problem it solves
  • What improvement it could create

Clear ideas are easier to understand and easier to support.

Choose Visibility

You may have the option to submit your idea anonymously.

This allows you to share feedback without attaching your name.

Choose the option that makes you most comfortable.

Submit and Share

Once submitted, your idea becomes visible to others in the organization.

Team members can:

  • Upvote ideas they support
  • Downvote ideas they don’t support
  • Comment to add feedback or expand on the idea

This helps surface the ideas that matter most.

Track the Status

Ideas move through a simple review process.

You’ll be able to see the status of your idea, such as:

  • Pending Review
  • Approved
  • Not Approved
  • Under Consideration

A countdown may also show how long the idea is open for feedback.

Contribute to the Conversation

Ideas aren’t just about submitting.

You can also:

  • Review ideas from others
  • Add comments
  • Support ideas you believe in

This creates a shared space for improving the organization together.

What’s Next

Once ideas are reviewed, decisions are made and shared.

Next, explore Recognition to see how great contributions and wins are celebrated across the organization.
