Jobs define expectations.
They determine:
- What someone is responsible for
- How performance is measured
- Which Success Drivers apply
- Which assignments (KPIs) are tracked
Every employee must be assigned to a Job.
What a Job Includes
Each Job contains the core structure for a role.
Job Information
- Job Title
- Job Code (optional identifier)
- Manager (default reporting structure)
- Description
This defines the role at a high level.
Job Assignments (KPIs)
Job Assignments are the measurable responsibilities tied to the role.
Each assignment includes:
- Name
- Description
- Measurable toggle
- Source (manual or integrated)
- Frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
- Measurement type
- Category
Performance Levels (Optional)
Assignments can include performance thresholds.
When enabled, you can define:
- Fails
- Meets
- Exceeds
This allows performance to be evaluated against clear benchmarks.
Not all assignments require multiple performance levels.
Some may be tracked as a single value.
Success Drivers
Jobs also include Success Drivers.
These represent how someone performs their work.
Examples include:
- Coaching Ability
- Strategic Thinking
- Workload Management
Success Drivers are used in:
- Growth Plans
- 1:1 feedback
- Performance Reviews
