You’re in Dual Dash because you lead people.
Your role in the system is simple: create clarity, run great conversations, and help your team improve.
Today is about getting oriented and preparing for your first coaching conversations.
Here’s the simple path.
1. Review Your Dashboard
Your dashboard is your personal workspace.
Only you can see it.
Managers often use their dashboard to keep an eye on:
• upcoming 1:1 meetings
• action items from conversations
• team performance
• goals and tasks
You can add, remove, and rearrange widgets to fit how you manage.
Think of it as your daily command center for coaching and leadership.
To customize your dashboard:
• Click Add + in the top right
• Choose the widgets you want
• Drag them into the layout that works for you
2. Review Team Scorecards
Next, open Scorecards.
Scorecards give managers a clear view of performance across the team.
You can review KPIs for:
• individual employees
• job groups
• departments
• the organization
Look for:
• performance trends
• benchmarks
• areas where coaching might help
Scorecards help you quickly answer an important question:
Where should I focus my coaching today?
3. Check Team Goals and Tasks
Now head to Goals & Tasks.
This is where the team’s work becomes visible.
You can see:
• goals assigned to employees
• tasks connected to those goals
• progress updates
• action items created during meetings
Use this view to understand where work is moving forward and where someone might need support.
4. Schedule Your 1:1 Meetings
Great teams improve through consistent conversations.
Managers use 1:1 meetings to create alignment and provide coaching.
If you haven’t already, schedule regular 1:1 meetings with your team.
During these meetings you’ll typically:
• review scorecard performance
• discuss priorities
• remove obstacles
• define next steps
These conversations help keep everyone aligned and moving forward.
5. Recognize Great Work
Recognition is one of the simplest ways to strengthen a team.
Dual Dash allows you to send STARS to recognize employees when they contribute, improve, or go the extra mile.
You can also share Success Stories that highlight meaningful wins across the organization.
Recognition reinforces the behaviors that drive results.
6. Encourage Ideas
Your team sees opportunities you may not.
Encourage employees to submit Ideas when they notice ways to improve the organization.
Ideas help leaders uncover:
• process improvements
• new opportunities
• insights from the front line
Great organizations get better because ideas surface.
What’s Next
Now that you’re oriented, the most important step is running your first 1:1 meeting.
That’s where performance becomes visible, coaching happens, and progress begins.
