Organization Setup is where you define the foundation of how Dual Dash works for your company.
Everything you configure here impacts dashboards, scorecards, surveys, 1:1s, recognition, and communication across your organization — so it’s worth taking a few minutes to get this right.
Think of this as setting the operating system for your team.
Company Information
Vision
Your Vision appears on everyone’s dashboard.
This is your company’s north star — a simple statement that reminds people why the work matters.
Keep it short. Keep it real. Make it something your team can rally behind.
Location & Time Zone
Time Zone
This is the default time zone for your entire organization.
It drives:
- Survey delivery timing
- 1:1 scheduling
- Scorecard date ranges
- Work Plans deadlines
- Any time-based automation
Scorecards also use work days based on this time zone.
If someone on your team works in a different time zone, they can update their personal time zone in My Account — but this setting controls the system-wide behavior.
Set this carefully.
Communication Tools
Select the communication frameworks your organization uses.
Supported tools include:
- DiSC
- Platinum Rule
- StrengthsFinder
- Myers-Briggs
- Color Code
- Management by Strengths
- Enneagram
- Intercultural Conflict Styles
If your organization uses multiple tools — no problem.
You can select as many as you’d like.
These show up inside:
- 1:1 meetings
- Individual Team Profile pages
They act as reminders to communicate in a way that matches each person’s style — helping your message land and your coaching connect.
Categories
Categories represent how your business is organized.
These are not necessarily departments.
Examples:
- Sales
- Marketing
- Financial
- Customer Loyalty
- Employee Engagement
Use Categories to group goals, scorecards, surveys, and insights across your organization.
Think of these as your business lenses.
Company Values
Your Company Values are used in the Recognition feature.
When someone sends praise or recognition, they can tag which values the person leaned into.
This helps reinforce the behaviors that matter most — not just the outcomes.
Set values that reflect how you want people to show up every day.
Why This Matters
Organization Setup drives consistency across:
- Dashboards
- Coaching
- Recognition
- Scorecards
- Surveys
- Communication
Strong inputs here lead to clearer expectations, better conversations, and more aligned teams.
Set it once. Benefit every day.
What’s Next
Now that your organization structure and performance framework are configured, the next step is connecting the systems that feed data into Dual Dash.
Many organizations integrate tools such as HR systems, payroll platforms, or other operational software so information can flow automatically into the platform.
This helps keep employee records, performance data, and operational metrics up to date without manual work.
Next, explore Integrations & Data (Admin) to learn how Dual Dash connects with your existing systems and how data flows into Scorecards, Surveys, and other parts of the platform.
